Steel Pulse and SOJA Performing Live

Steel Pulse and SOJA performing live at the House of Blues at Myrtle Beach on April 19, 2012!

For the reggae lovers, this is a performance you won't want to miss! Steel Pulse is one of Britain's best West Indian reggae bands, whose music consists of authentic roots reggae music, jazz, and latin flavor. They have also added a touch of dancehall and hip-hop to their music over the years while maintaining their authentic sound and Rastafarian vision. This band has been around since the 1970s and is known for high energy performances, elaborate costumes, and dance.

SOJA, a fairly new and emerging reggae group compared to the 30+ year career of Steel Pulse, are raising the bar with the release of their fourth album entitled Strength to Survive. This album was greatly inspired by Bob Marley's album, Survival. SOJA has sold over 150,000 albums in the last couple of years and have performed in over 15 different countries around the world.

"I could go on and on about the horrible damage we've done to the earth or the problems that arise when countries compete for money over an imaginary border, but the album has one central theme," says lead singer of SOJA, Jacob Hemphill, "and that's our hope for the world to be one family."

This will be a feel good concert filled with  melodies calling for unity, faith, and love.
