(Mac miller) Malcom McCormick born on January 19,1992. He is mostly known as Easy Mac from a former band known as Ill Spoken. He was raised in Point Breeze, Pittsburgh, Penn by a Christian father and Jewish mother. He attended Winchester Thurston School, then Taylor Alderdice High school. As a teenager, Mac was a wild child getting arrested for house parties with friends across the border to Canada. Once he found hip-hop, it became his life. He started playing various instruments since he was 6. He started experiencing success after "How High" with DJ Diggz and Rated R. The Duo opened shows for artists including Soulja Boy. Miller decided to fly solo and came out with his first solo mix tape, " But My Mackin Ain't Easy." In 2010, he got a recording deal with Rostrum Records. His first mix tape with them was "K.I.D.S." released in August 2010. As he gained more experience, he started working with great musicians like Just Blaze and 9th Wonder. He prepared himself for his first major release, "Knock, Knock," in November 2010. His next major hit was his new release, "Blue Side Park," on Nov. 8, 2011.
"My overall goal is to be able to speak and connect with the world. It's a pretty big goal to set for myself, but with what I'm seeing right now and the path that I'm going on, I think that I can do it because I have experience with all different backgrounds and genres of music. I'm trying to have it where your straight trap dudes are listening to my music, as well as your straight hip-hop heads and people who listen to the Beatles, and Led Zeppelin, and the Sex Pistols," Miller said.
